Become part of the Alberta Cultural Society of the Deaf (ACSD) — a vibrant community led by and for Deaf, DeafBlind, Hard of Hearing, and Indigenous Deaf individuals across Alberta.

As a not-for-profit organization, the ACSD welcomes everyone who supports our mission and values. Your membership helps strengthen advocacy, promote accessibility, preserve Deaf culture, and ensure that Deaf voices are represented at both the provincial and national levels.

The ACSD offers five types of memberships:

• Active Membership – for Deaf and Hard of Hearing members with full voting rights and eligibility to serve or hold office.

• Associate Membership – for hearing individuals who support ACSD’s goals; may join discussions and committees but have no voting rights.

• Affiliated / Liaison Membership – for partner organizations whose representatives may vote, serve, and hold office if Deaf or Hard of Hearing.

• Graduate Student Membership – for students who wish to engage, learn, and participate in community activities. (Free for 2 years)

• Indigenous Membership – for Indigenous members who strengthen cultural and community connections; hold full membership rights.
